On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, the National Gallery of Athens hosted the award ceremony for the 2025 Grand Prize for Letters, which was awarded ex aequo to Vincenzo Rotolo (University of Palermo), Jacques Bouchard (Université de Montréal), Roderick Beaton (King's College London), and Moschos Morfakidis Filactós (University of Granada).
The award was conferred by the Greek Ministry of Culture in recognition of their outstanding lifetime contribution to Greek letters, acknowledging their significant role in the study and international dissemination of Modern Greek language, literature, and culture.
